Summer yoga session

June 19 to August 7, 2019

These yoga classes will help you reconnect with muscles you forgot you had. 

The Lazy Lady’s Workout* is a yoga class that gently challenges you to discover new strength by balancing effort with effortlessness.

By the end of this program, you’ll have reacquainted yourself with muscles you forgot you had, but so gently that you didn’t realize you were actually working out.

Four spots available at my home studio OR attend live virtual classes from your home through video conference.

8 weeks: $110

Drop in / pay as you go: $15 per class

CLASS SCHEDULE

Login to Zoom or arrive anytime after 5:45 pm. Classes will start and end on time.

Classes are held every Wednesday from 6-7 pm beginning June 19 and running until August 7, 2019.

LIVE VIRTUAL CLASSES

Virtual classes are run through Zoom Video Conferencing.  Zoom is free, but uses your WiFi. It’s easy to download and use. Each week I’ll email you a link to our class; you click the link, mute your microphone and enjoy your class from the comfort of your own home. 
After each class you can ask questions about class. I’m available for 1:1 questions to ensure you get the most out of your yoga practice.

HOME STUDIO

My home studio is located in Kitchener’s Forest Heights neighbourhood, near Highland Road W and Ira Needles Blvd. Once you’re registered, I’ll send you my address & details.

THERE WILL BE CAT HAIR

I share my home with cats. They won’t be in studio during class, but they do share my space. If you have allergies, the virtual session will be more appropriate for you.

HOW DO I DO THE VIRTUAL CLASS?

The virtual class is easy. Download Zoom on your device (an iPad or bigger is best). It’s free to download, and very easy to use. It runs on your home's WiFi. Each week I'll email you a link to our Zoom session. Click the link and get comfortable. I will log in and mute everyone's microphones so as not to disrupt the class.
After class you can ask questions to be sure you get the most out of these classes.

WHAT DO I NEED?

Wear comfortable clothes, have water nearby, and use a yoga mat. Bare feet is ideal; shoes aren’t permitted in the studio space. If you like, keep a blanket nearby for rest (savasana) after practice. Props like straps and blocks are not required.

I’VE NEVER DONE YOGA, IS THIS FOR ME?

If you’ve never done yoga, the Lazy Lady’s Workout flow is a great place to start. Movement is gentle but challenging. Extreme flexibility is not required. We won’t be contorting ourselves into pretzels in this class.

I’VE BEEN OUT OF MY FITNESS GAME FOR A WHILE, IS THIS FOR ME?

If you’ve been out of your fitness game for a while, this is a great place to reacquaint yourself by getting back in to a movement practice. The Lazy Lady’s Workout flow is a gentle place to start. We'll progress in slow increments through the 6 weeks. My wish for you is that you rediscover how your body feels, and maybe surprise yourself in these gentle strength-building classes.
